AXIS#.CMDSOURCE

Description

AXIS#.CMDSOURCE specifies the source of the command to the axis. AXIS#.OPMODE sets the operation mode to the relevant control loop.

AXIS#.CMDSOURCE values can be set as follows:

  • Only available on Axis 2

AXIS#.CMDSOURCE can be changed while the drive is enabled or disabled. If using the terminal to change the operation mode, it is recommended to disable the drive before changing the command source.


  • If you change AXIS#.CMDSOURCE from the terminal while the drive is enabled, the system may experience a step change in command.

Example

To set the command source to the TCP/IP channel and the operation mode to velocity:

-->OPMODE 1
